focus group

With my main product completed and my ancillary product also i decided to do another focus group in a different format to a earlier one i planned.

The format of the focus group was as follows; i set up the animation onto a projector. I then handed out copies of a set of questions about the animation for the group to fill out. I set the animation to run and i then left the room to allow for the focus group to comment about matters which they would feel they couldn't say in person.

The results that i received  follow a rough trend, the major points that i received were to do the way the snake character looked within the animation (for which i have adjusted in my animation) and also there were a few comments about how things fit well within the target audience i selected

I have also did a focus group for the Live action TV trailer, the results and responses were that the text seemed to move across the screen too fast. However, after making the changes and showing the new version to the same group they agreed that it fit in with the other products and

  1. oh my - i have run out of brainspace to annotate lots of comments - you are next on my list but i did want to say that your animation is just fantastic - i love it - the finish is superb, styling and originality is wonderful, it made me smile and i would love to see more - now we need to ensure that the product is supported and enough evidence for the assessment criteria is embedded in the blog and the evaluation

    1. the brief you are fulfilling - i love the animation but i am not sure that it is yet clear whether it is an extract of an animation, levels for a game or an advert for a game/animation - the genre and artefact lacks clarity - again we will talk tomorrow in the lesson
    2. that you have evidence of the idea of advertising somewhere in this blog -
